pipelines and production
facilities, and maintain
regulatory compliance.
Reporting to the Vice
President, Engineering
Services; the Director is
responsible for managing and
growing the Pipeline
Integrity Service Line. This
includes understanding
client needs, developing
business goals and service
delivery.
Job Duties:
As a member of the Director of Pipeline Integrity is responsible
for, but not limited to, the
following general duties:
- Develop business plan
for Pipeline Integrity
service line.
- Ensure profitability of
service line and client
projects.
- Plan work, projects,
staff activities and
resource requirements within
the service line.
- Utilize project
management tools to ensure
projects are completed on
time and on budget.
- Primary client liaison
from proposal to project
delivery including invoicing
and collections.
- Monitor Quality Control
and Quality Assurance
programs for Pipeline
Integrity projects.
- Ensure deliverables are
compliant with all
applicable codes, standards
and regulations.
- Foster and develop new
business relationships.
- Act in supervisory
capacity for project teams,
ensuring staff have
appropriate training and
tools to succeed.
- Conduct performance
reviews for direct staff
including coaching and
development of junior staff.
Industry Experience and
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in
Engineering.
- Minimum 5 years
experience in field of
Pipeline inspection and
Integrity Management;
preferably with an
engineering or service
company.
- Minimum 3 years
experience in personnel
management; including
hiring, supervision and
evaluation.
- Demonstrated leadership
qualities and ability to
mentor and train others.
- Demonstrated project
management skills.
- Experience or aptitude
for client management and
development.
- Excellent communication
skills (written /verbal) and
command of the English
language (oral, written and
comprehension).
- Demonstrated business
unit planning, supervision
and financial management
skills.
- Self motivated, ability
to think critically and
proven problem solving
skills.
- Experience in fracture
mechanics, or finite element
analysis, or stress analysis
would be considered an
asset.
