Skystone’s

office and the field.
Your responsibilities will
range from technical problem
solving, project management,
project work (systems
assessment, design review,
etc.), quality systems
review, business process
reviews and assessments as
well as customer
relationship management.
Job Duties:
Using your knowledge and
experience of oil and gas
pipeline systems you will
support clients in the
mitigation and monitoring of
inspection strategies
against corrosion and other
integrity threats. This will
involve the following:
- Compiling data from
diverse sources,
- Analyzing data,
- Establishing technical
options, and then
- Developing cost of
operation models to optimize
the maintenance management
plan of pipeline systems.
You will use your knowledge
of materials, oil and gas
processing, pipeline integrity,
corrosion prediction and
prevention, degradation
mechanisms and monitoring
technology to:
- Develop pipeline
Operations and Maintenance
manuals,
- Inspection programs,
- Ongoing monitoring,
- Mitigation processes,
- Repairs, and
- Pipeline assessments.
You will work closely with
your customers, which include
some of the largest oil and gas
companies in the country, and
tailor your effort to meet their
requirements. You will use your
knowledge of systems to ensure
the best possible service for
your customers. You may also be
responsible for managing
sub-contractors who are
collecting data, completing
repairs or executing other parts
of the maintenance management
plan.
Key responsibilities will
include but are not limited to:
maintain and improve pipeline
integrity, availability,
reliability and service factors
of the operating facilities by
working with operations;
initiate and develop local cost
saving projects; and provide
support for initiatives
suggested by other team members.
The successful candidate would
also ensure equipment
modification and design meet
engineering practices as well as
all environmental, regulatory
and code requirements.

advances in technology and

required.
Education Requirements:
-
Post-secondary diploma or
engineering degree in
Metallurgical / Materials / Mechanical / Chemical
or technologist.
Software Skills:
-
Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel™ and
MS Word™.
- Knowledge of AbaData™
and AccuMap™ databases.
Industry Experience:
- A minimum of three to five (3-5)
years of related experience.
- Field experience would
be an asset.
