The Management of Skystone International LP is pleased to announce that it has successfully completed a management buy-out of the share of Skystone owned by NPC Integrity Services. The acquisition gives Management full control of Skystone.

As a result, Skystone will be better positioned to provide clients in the oil and gas industry with comprehensive integrity, engineering and management services.

“The acquisition provides us with a unique opportunity to take a well established service provider in the upstream oil and gas industry and build a multi-disciplined maintenance services organization focused on value added products and services,” said Rupert Holmes Smith, President of Skystone International LP.

Skystone is also pleased to announce the formation of an Advisory Board. Hal Hamilton will become the Chairman of the Advisory Board for Skystone and brings a wealth of expertise and management experience to the company, Hal Hamilton is the President of Redlog Technology Ventures Ltd. He has over 30 years experience in the environmental business sector, including being CEO of Golder Associates, a multi-national engineering and sciences consulting firm. Most recently Mr. Hamilton was the founder and President of Verdant Energy Ltd, a renewable power company. He is an environmental scientist by training. In addition to his position on the Board of Directors, Mr. Hamilton will be taking an active role in Skystone operations.

Skystone also welcomes William Stedman to its Advisory Board. Mr. Stedman previously served as President and Chief Executive Officer of Pembina Pipeline Corporation from 1997-2000 and is currently the Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of ENTx Capital Corporation. Mr. Stedman currently sits of the boards of the following companies: Innercor Subsurface Technologies, Keyera Energy L.P., Verdant Energy Ltd, Sunfire Energy Corporation, and Masters Energy Inc.

Skystone also announces the addition of John Eddy to its Advisory Board. Mr. Eddy was formerly CEO and CFO of Evoco Inc. and continues to act as a Director. Mr. Eddy is also CEO for Replicon Inc. For a large portion of his career, Mr. Eddy was Director, Information Systems with Dome Petroleum Ltd.

Skystone also welcomes John Read to its Advisory Board. Mr. Read began his career in the oil and gas industry with Shell Canada and then Texaco Exploration Canada. In 1974, he joined Colt Engineering Ltd. In 1983 he became President and Chief Executive Officer of Colt Engineering and he was Chief Executive Officer from 1999 until his retirement in early 2006. Mr. Read is a member of the World Presidents' Organization and APEGGA. Mr. Read serves as a director on the boards of Oilsands Quest Inc, Axia Netmedia Corporation and PFB Corporation.
